From Olivia Coombs, MWB alumna and dancer with Boston Dance Theater:
I connected with Jessica Wilson when I was nine years old. Previously my mom and I had been moving around studios but immediately I knew that because of the rigorous yet warm environment I would not be switching round teachers or studios gain. I studied with Mrs. Wilson from age 9 to 18. Even beyond that time she continued to be invested through my growth through continuously offering teaching and performing opportunities. She easily has been the most influential teacher in my life. Mrs. Wilson taught me structure and discipline in ways that encouraged me to constantly push myself; yet still find enjoyment and love through the art of dance. She would allocate her time to each individual student without power for compromising the trajectory of the group as a whole. I’m grateful to have met and learned from such great leader.

From Sandra Jennings, Former Soloist New York City Ballet and Répétiteur for the George Balanchine Trust:
As a student of my mother, Jacqueline Cronsberg, Jessica was a stand out from the beginning! Her commitment to learning about ballet and her amazing talent made her a shining example to the other students! She also has an incredible generosity and kind heart!
Jessica went on to become a teacher for my mothers school and company. Ballet Workshop Of New England and The Massachusetts Youth Ballet! She was an irreplaceable ingredient in the organization.
On my mother’s retirement Jessica went on to open her own school. My mother and I were supportive of this endeavor and Jessica has a had an incredible success and grown even more capable in her abilities to pass on not only great ballet technique and style but also a way of being in the world. Caring, empathetic and joyful! Jessica Wilson is a great role model for children and adults!
I should introduce myself. My name is Sandra Jennings. I am the daughter of Jacqueline Cronsberg who ran the great ballet school in Hopkinton and Waltham Massachusetts for many years! I was a dancer with the New York City Ballet under the leadership of George Balanchine. I am now a Répétiteur for the George Balanchine Trust and stage his ballets around the world! I have always admired Jessica Wilson’s work with children and adults. She is a truly gifted artist and person!
I look forward watching her continued influence in the world of dance and life!

From a Hopkinton resident and parent of a MWB alumna:
Jessica Wilson has been with our family since the first time my daughter, at the age of four, walked in to the studios of Ballet Workshop New England formerly on Hayden Rowe. Over the intervening years Jessica’s location has changed and we have always moved with her. It is more than fitting that she is bringing the quality of her instruction back to Hopkinton at the HCA. Jessica has had many successes teaching ballet. Yes, her dancers have become professionals and have advanced in the dance world.Equally importantly, she has guided all of her students with the same standard of excellence. Over the years we have seen every manner of dance lover mature and grow under Jessica’s guidance. She creates performance opportunities for everyone and gorgeous stage productions. What an incredible opportunity this is to have Jessica back in Hopkinton at the HCA.
